“The curriculum provides equality of access and opportunity for all our students to make progress. For those few boys with additional educational needs (e.g.dyslexia, dyspraxia), monitoring and support are coordinated by the school’s learning support team who work in close collaboration with the House system and academic departments. Two members of the learning support team hold specialist qualifications in specific learning difficulties.”
“Choosing a School can be a great leap of faith. I hope that as you come to know Habs you will find that choice an easy and enjoyable one to make. This is an environment which offers more than our own memories of School: enthusiasm, teamwork and friendship as well as an innate respect for all that is genuinely intellectual. This respect is reflected in outstanding examination results and the achievement of our students’ goals in Higher Education.
Your sons will be challenged by an exciting academic curriculum allied to a wealth of sporting, dramatic, musical and cultural activity. Your views will be both sought and valued. Passion for learning, the pre-eminence of the intellect, endeavour, diligence and the pursuit of excellence are qualities we all espouse.
Growth in all ways, the willingness to adapt and embrace change and crucially the development of leadership potential and humanity are goals to which we all aspire. I hope you will sense some of this energy and drive when you come and visit us. Do so soon. You are assured the warmest of welcomes.
